All living things on Earth need oxygen. Some living organisms produce this essential gas and allow us to correct our mistakes in destroying the Earth.
Clean Energy, Photosynthesis, and Trees—focus on oil refineries and their relationship with the natural world. Clean Energy examines the paradox of sustainability within fossil fuel production, while Photosynthesis contrasts the organic process of energy conversion with the industrial machinery that disrupts it. Trees highlights nature’s resilience, depicting towering refineries overshadowing fragile ecosystems.
By illuminating these works from within, I invite viewers to see both the allure and the consequences of human progress. These works are a reflection on our dependence on industry and a call to reconsider the balance between consumption and preservation.
