ARTIFACT explores the persistent scars humanity leaves on the environment, transforming pollution itself into a relic of our time. These works reflect the duality of nature and industrialization, where beauty and destruction coexist in a fragile balance. Layers of plastic, acrylic, and photography merge to evoke a landscape altered by human intervention—an archive of ecological decline. The shifting hues and textures symbolize the transformation of our world under environmental stress, illustrating the passage of time through contamination.

By juxtaposing organic forms with industrial imagery, I confront the tension between growth and decay, renewal and irreversible damage. The tree-like structures struggle to thrive against an oppressive backdrop, their vitality threatened by pollution. The artificial sheen of plastic references the permanence of waste, a modern artifact that outlives its creators. Through these works, I question what will remain of our present era—will future generations inherit a world of renewal or a wasteland of relics?
In ARTIFACT, I invite viewers to reconsider their relationship with the environment, to see pollution not as an abstract issue but as an undeniable presence woven into the fabric of our existence. This series serves as both a warning and a reflection, urging a deeper awareness of the footprints we leave behind.
