Fish Kill

Fish Kill is a reflection on the environmental crises facing our oceans today. As an artist deeply engaged in oceanography and ecological concerns, I begin each project with extensive research, sketching, and formulating a vision that shapes the exhibition as a whole.

In this series, I explore the impact of urban development and its consequences on marine ecosystems, questioning how we can secure a sustainable future for the next generation. My signature LED light objects play a central role in this work, illuminating ocean pollution's devastation while pointing toward solutions. I incorporate found objects, LED lights, and epoxy resin to evoke the contamination of our waters—tubs filled with light and discarded materials symbolizing the urgent need for environmental restoration.

Through Fish Kill, I confront the most pressing threats to our civilization, urging a dialogue on cleaning and preserving our ocean environment before it’s too late.
